Vacations To Go

Volume 19, Issue 8

"Whle the earth remains, seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease."

Genesis 8:22

We had a nice time on our California National Parks & More trip. We skirted around a fire outside Lassen, which is unfortunately still burning up cities. There wasn't much smoke after that. The views from Yosemite's Glacier Point were amazing. Sequoia was busy. Kings Canyon was amazing. We spent a lazy day exploring it's possibilities: caves, waterfalls, and a lake. Lake Hume in the middle of nowhere was a town in itself, as a church camp for kids from all over California. What an amazing place. Likewise the Redwoods were spectacular. Fern Canyon was a delightful surprise.

We cancelled our Christmas in the Caribbean cruise to the Eastern Caribbean, due to Covid still being a possibility of shortening the cruise time. We will see some of Walt Disney World, while the guys and Autumn do Holiday Matsuri. Then we are all doing Universal Studios and more of Walt Disney World.

We switched our cruise to Alaska this summer for the Missing Alaska trip. Hopefully we get to actually go on this one. We have cancelled 5 cruises so far. Wow!

I have revised our Rory's Grand Adventure trip to Rory's Grand Adventure-Reversed trip. However, we are waiting to see if Paul is approved. This way we don't have to fly between the cruise and the land tour. I am already booking hotels.

We are still praying that Covid leaves this world. Hopefully the end will come soon.
