The Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse Preservation Society offers light refreshments and souvenirs in the old Canteen building inside Fort Rodd Hill during the summer months.
Fisgard Lighthouse Built by the British in 1860, when Vancouver Island was not yet part of Canada, Fisgard's red brick house and white tower has stood faithfully at the entrance to Esquimalt harbour. Once a beacon for the British Royal Navy's Pacific Squadron, today Fisgard still marks home base for the Royal Canadian Navy.

(10-3) accessible restrooms, picnic tables, self-guided nature trails. Open part-time in summer as staffing allows, with information, exhibits, book and map sales. Olympic National Forest and Park Information Station: open daily in summer, wilderness permits and bear canisters. July Creek Picnic Area: tables and accessible vault toilet. Closed during Maple Glade walk.
 
    Quinault Maple Glade Walk - Fridays and Mondays, 2 p.m. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the 1/2-mile Maple Glade loop and explore the rain forest with a ranger. 60 minutes.  
    Kestner Homestead- Learn about homestead life on this flat, self-guided 1.3-mile loop from the Quinault Rain Forest Ranger Station.
